Crosby & Crosscanonby (August 2005)

Of the 6 households that completed Part II of the form, 2 were found not to fit the criteria of being in genuine housing need in Crosby and Crosscanonby for the following reasons.

1 household owned their home with a mortgage and wanted to downsize.  They were judged to have sufficient capital to do so and meet their own needs on the open market.

1 household owned their home outright and want a larger home.  Their current home has been judged to be sufficient for their current needs and this was deemed aspirational rather than need.

Therefore, of the 6 households, 4 were found to be in genuine housing need and need to live in the parish.
